Any questions before you start?
What will my project cost?
It depends on the scope, existing conditions and finish you want. Send photos, your town and a short description. Where possible I give an initial estimate; measuring or a site visit may be needed for a firm proposal.
Are materials included?
Only when explicitly stated in the proposal. We agree which materials are needed, who orders them and how they are charged. If you have chosen materials yourself, I check their suitability before the work.
What if something unexpected comes up?
I explain what has been found, the possible solution and its impact on costs and timing. Work outside the agreed scope only goes ahead after your approval.
Can I get an estimate first?
Yes. Send photos and a description without obligation. A request does not commit you to an order. If photos are not enough, we discuss whether a visit is needed.
Do you also take on smaller renovations?
Yes, such as interior finishing, adapting a room or finishing an attic. Related work at one address can be discussed as a single project. I check beforehand whether the project fits my services.
How is the work scheduled?
We discuss your preferred dates and agree a start based on availability, scope and material deliveries. We agree the schedule before work starts and discuss any changes with you.
